So, been practicing that lesson the last few days and just love it. IMO, It's perfect for someone at my level of playing (almost a year in).

I was feeling a bit relaxed and decided to try an improv using similar notes and here is what I came up with. You might recognize part of Muris' lick in there.

Feedback welcome smile.gif Been trying like crazy to get my vibrato to stand out so I hope it does

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Sounds very good, I can see that you were influenced by Muris, both playing and tone wise. I think you did a great job mate. One thing I would suggest is a bit better timing in terms of syncing with the groove of the track. It would sound even better with a bit better timing. Again great job mate. Cheers smile.gif
