My settings are the same as yours sad.gif

Its my effects that aren't working if that helps.

And it worked normally before. I didn't change a thing. It started doing it for some weird reason.

Hmmm....

Lets get this straight , when you plug in headphones into headphones output in UX2 , go to gearbox software, in its own player load a mp3 track and play it back - you only hear sound on one channel ?? Try that one please...

I would recommend reinstalling everything completely just to make sure...

Your tones should be located in : C:\Program Files\Line6\GearBox\data\Factory\Preset\USER

You should copy the whole USER folder, and later on paste it into new installation..Everything should be working...

It won't play anything in player as it says needs MP3 codec even though I obviously have that.

Hmm do you have an .wav files ?? Just to test if both speakers work...Anyway I think something is wrong with the software and installation...Have you tried using Line 6 monkey to update your software and drivers to the latest version ??
Also I think complete reinstall should do the trick but lets leave that as a last resort..

Yeah. A Webcam but it worked fine for a while after installing. I uninstalled it today and it made no difference. So I reinstalled Toneport and still nothing.

regarding your issue with only hearing mono through your headphones......

I had this same problem, and with me I was using a 1/4 inch adapter so that my headphones would fit into the plug on the toneport...... it turned out that this adapter did not support stereo sound and it was driving crazy for the longest time....

try and see if you can get stereo sound out of CD player/ Ipod etc.

if you can then try using a different adapter, because that was my problem

Very easy to figure out if the jack is stereo or mono is look at the plug. If it has one ring around the tip its mono, 2 its stereo.

stereo

mono

Hope ths helpss.
