I am going to say, practice for some time simply having fun and playing your favorite songs, this is the best for a beginner, I could do this for hours as a beginner, but if you want to be more disciplined than I, do it for an our or so, and then start practicing technique.
For soloing I strongly recommend starting with easy pentatonic licks with little bends, hammer ons and pull offs, it is easier and more fun to practice these things using interesting musical ideas. I think David Walliman's lesson on slow pentatonics is great for beginners https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...atonics-lesson/ Have fun |

You can check out my pentatonic workshop mate. There you will learn a pentatonic scale, which is something you should learn if you haven't already. Cheers
