Guitar Bowing, any tips?

The best thing though is if you are going to dedicate to doing something like this have a guitar that can be set up differently than a regular guitar. See the problem is that guitar string all have the same height, so bowing say the A string is going to pose a problem without hitting the other strings. Bowed instruments have their string height in such a way that it forms a curve so each individual string can be bowed with out hitting other strings. I had an old guitar that was basically just a kick around guitar and what i did was to change the action height across the strings to form an arc, i had to redo the intonation as well of course, perhaps you don't want to take it that far. It could get pretty messy because rosin dust will fly everywhere and get into your electronics. It also gets sticky if you don't clean it over time.
