Reminds me of cheesy guitars of days past (namely late 80s early 90): http://www.mtvmusic.com/video/?id=9128 Case and point

To this day, I still have never heard a more ridiculously undecipherable guitar lead in all my life. From the very first time I heard it, I seriously thought it was a joke. Then I saw the video. I can't believe this guy would even release something like that. A prime example of what MTV promotes. Not to mention that the song itself makes no sense. And, yeah, Vernon Reid is over rated and his picking technique looks like something that came from a Cracker Jack box. (wow, I've always wanted to get that off my chest - sorry for the off topic rant!)

As far as Jason Becker's guitar, and as much as I love Jason Becker, it's almost "Hello Kitty" like. But, I would still like to have one. biggrin.gif

If you all put in a few dollars each, you could buy it for me! I think that's a brilliant idea!

Just to add to that: I really, really like the look of the guitar! tongue.gif

This guitar is seriously LOL. It looks cool but the color and the number inlay looks like pre-school kid decoration.

to much colors laugh.gif , but some models of this guitar company looks pretty cool, but not as cool as guitars from mann, suhr, caparison or other boutique brands that make super expensive instruments.

Yes, childish looking indeed, I know my daughter would love this guitar, I'll show it to her today, and see what she thinks, she'll probably tell me to buy it.

And should you ever want to get rid of it, I'm right here.

Seriously though, I'm considering using some of my insurance money on that guitar.

Must have missed this thread when it was first posted!

Cant say i'm a huge fan of all the colors, but if this is how Jason wants his signature to look then i'm happy he finally got a signature out. He deserves it.

You sound like my girlfriend there. All the guitars I want have lots of colours. Like the Petrucci Ibanez signature model as well as this Jason Becker one.

Oh man, wow. I've seen some UGLY guitars, but this is a new low. LOL

This is what the guitars would like if Nintendo Wii had originally made guitar hero. I hope he doesn't sell any, that'll learn him. haha, JK.

Is paradise a religious brand? The Rose is a total JEM ripoff I think, and for the price might as well buy a JEM.

I quite like it, its individual at least in a world full of boring ass death metal guitars that you need to look at the serial number to tell them apart, its refreshing that there are still manufacturers willing to put their reputations on the line to produce a faithful replica for what was a true pioneer of playing with a tragic story. I love anything different, in fact I am considering a road worn tele, a BFG and a dobro at the moment!

I would buy Jason Becker Sign. guitar in a heartbeat. I think the colors really give the guitar more personality, instead of just being like all the other guitars.....
