Dime was one of my favorites and you could also make it an intro to drop d tuning.

I don't know about that guy, but Dimebag Darrell is pretty damn good. wink.gif lol just kidding
A Dimebag lesson would be great, he's a great finesse player, and he has a great legato technique. And his control or harmonics is amazing.

I also think it would be amazing to have a Dime lesson. Seven days will make it two years since he left us sad.gif

I suggest checking out the songs Cemetery Gates(from the Cowboys From Hell album), Floods(from The Great Southern Trendkill album), A New Level(from Vulgar Display of power album), and Walk(from VDOP). And don't forget Dimebag's skills went beyond Pantera also!! Check out the bands Damageplan, and Rebel meets Rebel. Damageplan's song Pride has an awesome solo! And Rebel Meets Rebel's best solos(in my opinion) is from the song Get Outta My life, and Heartworn Highway.(not to mention on Rebel Meets Rebel Dime does a Flamenco song biggrin.gif )

Those are some good examples of Dime's playing.

You'd be correct biggrin.gif . One of the best solos in rock in my opinion, and the outro where Phil(singer) screams very high GAAAAAAAAAaaaaAAAATTESS!!!! And Dimebag follows those screams with his own whammy-barred-harmonic-scream thing. Very cool cool.gif

LOL. This was hilarious with your avatar.

Anyway, I'd love to learn the Cowboys from Hell style, bring it on. Or the superfast solos like in the "Domination" song.
