My first thought was "that can't possibly sound good" but then again, what do I know.

With good pickups any guitar would sound good, but will sound much better with carefully selected wood

Looks awesome, Steve Vai plays the acrylic guitar sometimes doesn't he?, I know I have seen pictures of him with it, but never actually heard it.

I dont think i would buy it for that much money...... I am sure you can get a guitar that is equally good for half that price.....

You could get an amazing guitar AND amp for that kind of money. Remember, you pay A LOT just for bells and whistles here mate.
