My first thought was "that can't possibly sound good" but then again, what do I know.
It looked sorta... special! I would never ever buy one myself tho even at a reasonable price!

It's pritty much a JEM made of acrylic and painted in wacky ways its a steve vai thing so it can't sound to bad.. also it costs an arm and a leg... i wouldn't pay that much for a terrible guitar tongue.gif

With good pickups any guitar would sound good, but will sound much better with carefully selected wood smile.gif

yeah man, $5000 is hefty...i dont want to be the party pooper, but that guitar is not meant for playing...its a collecter guitar.

if you want something for playing, buy an ibanez j-custom...they are half the price, and twice the playability, sound, quality. they come with real dimarzio pick ups (tone zone and something else i cant remember) and they have the vine of life inlay.

just my suggestion to save you some green

You could get an amazing guitar AND amp for that kind of money. Remember, you pay A LOT just for bells and whistles here mate.
