I think it would be cool to see a "Cliffs of Dover" collaboration! This is WAY above my head...but would love to see the more talented guys on this site get together and crank that tune out!

Copyrights shouldn't be the problem
cause there will be no profit from this cover.
I'm not the expert tho,just guessing. smile.gif

I figured if the "Smoke on the Water" collab wasn't a problem then this shouldn't be either...I could be wrong though!

One of my all time favorites.

I would be willing to help out with this project. I know where there is a free backing track.

Back in the day I loved playing ths.

--------------------
"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Smoke on the water is a different matter, and although I would like to see this collab, we should definitely wanna check out with management first.

You mean to copy the song or to improv?
Personally I find copying tedious.
