Hey there smile.gif

At the moment I'm in a "I want to play riffs"-time wink.gif
I'm looking for riffs like Slayers Season in the Abyss or Panteras Cowboys from Hell.
Difficulty should be something inbetween or easier, main thing is that the riffs has balls tongue.gif

Cheers smile.gif

I agree with this. Old Metallica has amazing riffs.

I would add a couple of my favourite from Symphony X.

1. Fallen
2. Egypt
3. Of Sins and Shadows

I've been playing lots of riffs from Heir Apparent by Opeth lately. It's filled with awesome and ballsy riffs, but mostly, they are really fun to play. Some of the riffs are harder than others in the song, but it's nothing really super advanced.

Edit: (omg, it worked)

Through Infectious Waters by Draconian has a pretty cool riff (It's in drop C tuning if you're wondering). It's fairly easy to play and is pretty heavy biggrin.gif

Alot of cool riffs have been brought up already here.
I'd like to add there's some killer stuff on megadeth's rust in peace album to. Check it out!
Bullet for my valentines riff work is quite cool and i think it fits into the category you looking for quite nicely.

I also have a couple of riff lessons here on GMC in different tunings if you'd like to have a look:)
