hello guys, Recently I've put myself in a difficult decision, regarding if i should cut my hair or not

when I cut my hair I mean its pretty long (past shoulders) now and cut it to short hair

I've been going through the pros and cons and the good things about long hair are that: I guess it looks better when playing metal and is effective during concerts (headbanging)

the bad thing is that its annoying to fix and is defiantly uncomfortable

Some of my friends who have cut their had said it was very comfortable after they cut it and don't regret it, plus it looked better on some people than it did on others, also the lady friends said it would look better biggrin.gif

odd question, I know, but if there has been any people in this situation, what did you do?

HAHA! I don't think JVM's looking for that Robin! laugh.gif

I used to have long hair couple of years back, but then I shaved it all off... AND I must admit it is a lot more comfortable, BUT... I regret it SO much now! I've tried to grow it back a couple of times but, the phase between long and short hair, where your hair reaches like halfway to your cheek or to just your jaw... I just can't find a hair style that doesn't look stupid on me with that long hair, so I've always choked and shaved it again...

Every night I dream of getting that hair back... sad.gif
Now I'm just secretly ashamed and I always wear a beanie(I have like 25-30 different beanies) and I only take it off at holiday dinner's with the family... But now goddammit I'm gonna go for try number 5, and this time I'm going all the way!

I'm very sorry I opened up like this, I just feel so strongly about my hair.

So I'm not saying don't cut your hair, what I'm saying is: Really think it through man, it takes time to grow it back.

My vote is for short hair. I used to have long hair past shoulders and down onto my back and after I cut it off it felt soooo good. No more tideous washing and drying, no more hair in my face, no more trimming cut ends etc.

The hairdresser asked me a couple of times to make sure it should really go. And her male friend that came in when it was close to done just stared on all the hair on the floor then at me and said "is it you? whew.. what have you done?" laugh.gif Wasn't very reassuring at that point wink.gif

I never regret it though.

Until last friday, I've had beyond shoulderlength hair for years...
It was extremely wierd the first week, but I'm starting to get used to having short(er) hair. A little products in it, and it looks awesome ^^

But anyway, to be on topic, my hair is in that perpetual halfway point between long and short tongue.gif I think it works okay for me though. It always looks ridiculous when it gets much longer, because my hair poofs out like nothing else. So I try to keep it from looking like carrot top, because my hair is probably a brighter orange than his. The ladies like the style I've got going though tongue.gif

This is pretty much my story, too. Years ago, I had hair down to my waist and now some of the smilies here have more hair than me. tongue.gif

No regrets, although I do have dreams about having long hair. huh.gif

Let me tell you a funny story that happened to very good friend of mine.

This guy is a Guitar player, loves rock metal and has long hair. He has been growing it for years probably... A week ago his Dad came to him and said : "Son , let me make you an offer - if you cut your hair short I will give you 10.000 dinars !" smile.gif
My friend at first refused but couple of days latter accepted the money smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

I personally think he looks cooler now with short hair (like some actor) and I can see girls are checking him out - so its a win win situation for him. smile.gif

Hope this was useful story haha biggrin.gif

Mostly you get more attention with short hair I think ... Don't know why but it seems to be like that.

I've had log hair on and off..
Each time I cut it back to short there is a day or two of adjustment, but then it feels so much better and so faster in the shower!
Plus it's just hair you know.. Not a big deal after all.. :-)

Hey Ramiro, your long hair looked great mate! smile.gif

@ megadeth

you can cut your hair, definitely better for maintaining. ALso if you aren't sure how you are going to look like you can always photoshop yourself to find out. No kidding!
