Due to the fact that some members asked about a slower version I give you the slower 90bpm version of the backing as well. If somebody wants to record in a slower version, he may do so. smile.gif

Here's the 110bpm backing

Here's the 90bpm backing

Here's my take Ivan. Struggled with this one man.. smile.gif Sorry for the vid quality, not sure if the lighting had something to do with it. It was raining here today so not much natural light. I use my Toneport as audio source so I didn't include audio file. Anyway..here it is, what their is of it.. laugh.gif

EDIT: Better Render....Sorry for the large file. 20+ megs.. rolleyes.gif And it's still not to my liking.. sad.gif smile.gif

It was good.

I just noticed that my bends at 17 seconds in the video are slightly out but I really can't do them again I don't think without doing whole thing again. So I know they are wrong but hopefully you know what I was trying to do. It sounds weird but not so awful I don't think smile.gif

Really did'nt have time to write something so this is pure improv hope you like it tho guys, tried to reecord vid using the toneport as the input but then i couldnt get the backing to sync up with it so i just went thru the cam mic, hope that does'nt cause any probs mixing

Later on Alex

This was definitely in the wrong key.

Your licks were nice man, but I would advice you to redo it in the correct scale, as all the notes differs from the chords here.

No offense ment, of course smile.gif

Edit: And if you are unsure of what to do, here's a scale diagram of both Cmajor and Cminor pentatonic. The track seems to modulate, though I haven't done a go on it myself. Ivan didn't post the chord progression :|

(The upper pic is minor)

The backing does not modulate, it is completely in C major key. The progression is:

C F G C
C F G C
F C
F C
F C E D
G F C

so C major pentatonic, or C minor pentatonic (for the bluesy feel) will do fine smile.gif

Ugh! mad.gif What an embarrassing goof! That guitar was tuned down, and then out of tune from that!
I'm normally pretty good about tuning before I play. Don't know where my head was that day. I'll try to
re do it tonight Ivan. Thanks Kjutte.

Same problem in the oldschool rock take btw smile.gif

Glad to help good sir, best of luck!

Edit:
And btw, you don't have to retune. I don't know your current tuning, but say you've tuned a halfstep down, that means you will have C on the 9th fret instead, for example. Whole step would be 10, et cetera...
