IS CONFUSING!!! I'm trying to match this Cacophony lick to a metronome and it's hard....

e|----------------------------------------12-------------------------12-17p12----------------------
B|-------------------------------------13---13-------------------13-----------13-----------------------
G|--------------9------------------14---------14-------------14-----------------12-----------------14--
D|-----------10--10------14---14---------------14-------14-----------------------14------------14---
A|--------12--------12------15---------------------12h15-----------------------------15p12h15---
E|--8h12--------------12-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you get the idea, it's a badass lick that doesn't fit in one line.

Anyway I've matched it up to 2 notes per beat and have seen massive improvements, but it's damn hard to keep playing 2 notes a beat with the legato mixed with one note per string.
Any tips on how to stay in time? I can do it, it's just real tough. Wel,l no one said sweeping is easy laugh.gif

Hmm - well my first advice would [as always] be to not diggest the whole thing in one peace - but practice the sweeps separately... Then again I am pretty new to sweeppicking, so others might have better advice for you! smile.gif
