Hey guys,

Some days ago I found out that a mate of mine can get gear quit cheap! his uncle can buy gear straight from the fabric because he used to own an electrics store. I can buy the Bugera 120 Watt Valve combo for 340 euro's, that's 200 cheaper then in (for instance) musicstore Germany!! I don't think I'm going to buy it, 120 watt is a lot for home practice, but it sure would be a nice deal! They also have some behringer amps, but not so nice as this bugera!

Didn't post it in the gear section but here, cause it's more that I wanna tell about the cheapness then bout the gear!, here's a pic of a Bugera like that: http://www.citysound.net/product.php?pid=BUGERA+6260-212

Nice Kaz, but don't get a 120 Watter valve to play in your bedrrom or you'll go deaf or your neighbours will kill you, whatever happens first laugh.gif, can't he get you some nice 5Watt valve? That would be cool for bedroom. I'm looking for a 5W valve myself in the future.

I'd be careful about Bugera. Story goes they suffer from lousy build quality. Cheaply built (they are cheap so...) and they break often. At least that's what I've heard.
I watched a youtube demo where the amp picked up a radiostation, knobs were loose and a couple didn't even work. On a brand new amp!! ohmy.gif

But besides that I think you have a great opportunity to get a new amp with your uncle. smile.gif

5 watt for in the bedroom... what the deuce? I got a 65 watt... just fine.. if I keep the volume just below 2 D: Im getting a pod so that wont be a problem!

If you want to break the valve sound naturally you need high volume, and a 5W valve amp is already too much to play in an apartment, it's really loud!

Is your 65W valve or solid state? Solid state amps sound good at low volumes.
