Hey guys. I'm thinking about buying an electron blue Fender Standard Telecaster and putting some upgrades in it. Thought I would run it buy you guys. Oh, and I'm gonna be putting the guitar through either an Orange Rocker 30/Orange AD30HTC w/ Avatar 212 cab (can't decide which amp to buy smile.gif
EMG T Set of Pickups
Grover 18:1 Tuners
Gotoh Modern Bridge (Tele)

Tell me what you think I love suggestions

EDIT:I love the idea of the Gotoh for some added weight

That seems like a great upgrade mate. Have you considered maybe to change the pots or something. This can really change to vibe of the guitar.

I've thought about that but what do you mean that it would change the vibe of the guitar? Also, is that difficult to do?

I meant the look of the guitar mate. Often a different set of pots can really change the whole vibe (look\character) of the axe. It's one of those details that are not clearly visible but they add a lot, you know what I mean?

Orange is a little bit overpriced if you ask me for the money you have the pay there is a nice selection of other amps in that pricerange but orange amps are pretty good from what ive seen wink.gif You have my thumbs up for the tele electron blue looks nice i'm sure with the things you have in mind it will sound good. Are you also considering a better neck from the American standard series?

How bout the jim root tele, but then put the gotoh on it. That guitar has EMGs, and sounds great through and orange amp!

I'll check it out but it's a bit pricey probably. Also, I've really been looking for a blue tele to relic. But thanks I'll definitely check it out.
