Here in Norway we have a lot of shows that's made specially for the period 1st to 24th of December, with one episode a day
For example my favourite, "The Julekalender" (translated to "The Christmas Calendar" ) is about three elfs who have to find a key of some sort, to rewind the "Music Box of Life" for one of their older elfs. They talk on a Norwegian/English crossing, which is pretty funny ("Let oss check the kart" - "Let's check the map" ). Meanwhile we follow the life of a potatofarmer and his wife (a man dressed as a woman, even more funny ), and the mysterious stranger who shows up at their farm. There are only three actors playing all these six roles, by the way Here is entire episode 2 if anyone wanna see a bit. Most of you might be able to understand what the elfs are talking about Anyway, I was wondering if any other countries we have here at GMC have something similar running? =) -------------------- GMC is not just a website... In the UK we don't have anything like this as far as I know. We just have bloody soaps and reality shows. And in the soaps everyone has a miserable christmas. |

Here we don't have that kind of a production, they do shows on New Year's Eve and play a lot of big movie titles in the holidays and that's it.

Its in the Norwegians nature to copy everything they see A little bit off topic, but I completely agree I don't think there is a single nowegian show that's not copied.. -------------------- GMC is not just a website... It's a lifestyle!
