Here in Norway we have a lot of shows that's made specially for the period 1st to 24th of December, with one episode a day smile.gif

For example my favourite, "The Julekalender" (translated to "The Christmas Calendar" tongue.gif) is about three elfs who have to find a key of some sort, to rewind the "Music Box of Life" for one of their older elfs.
They talk on a Norwegian/English crossing, which is pretty funny ("Let oss check the kart" - "Let's check the map" tongue.gif).

Meanwhile we follow the life of a potatofarmer and his wife (a man dressed as a woman, even more funny tongue.gif), and the mysterious stranger who shows up at their farm. There are only three actors playing all these six roles, by the way tongue.gif

Here is entire episode 2 if anyone wanna see a bit. Most of you might be able to understand what the elfs are talking about tongue.gif

Anyway, I was wondering if any other countries we have here at GMC have something similar running? =)

Here in the States, ABC Family runs "The 25 Days of Chistmas" with a different Holiday episode every night...

I don't know what the hell is going on these days. It's been about 10 years since I watched any of them. I can't think of anything more depressing than sitting around over Christmas watching TV. Unless it's Doctor Who.

We have The Julekalender in Denmark to, It's originally Danish and its really funny biggrin.gif Another Christmas calender i liked was "Christmas in Vesterbro" (Vesterbro a part of Copenhagen, capital of Denmark) It's very hard to explain, but one man played all the characters, and in the last episode Copenhagen was blowed up in a nuclear blast. But you know, it's the famous danish humor!

Here we don't have that kind of a production, they do shows on New Year's Eve and play a lot of big movie titles in the holidays and that's it. smile.gif
