Great and confident playing, valentino, very well done! biggrin.gif

My only advice would be to apply some gentle vibrato on the landing tones at the end of each phrase. That way you can greatly spice up the whole playing smile.gif

So keep up the good work, mate

Thanks mate!!!
I know I need to use vibrato, but I have a problem, I must concentrate to land in the new phrase and doing vibrato I don't feel confident. But I'll work on it wink.gif

Here's my advanced entry.

I can't believe how much harder this was than it looked.
Firstly because the tempo is low, and I can't really shred any slower than I do (because of low practise I guess.)

So, it came out a bit sloppy, but I am overall satisfied.
I didn't want to play his tapping so I did some improvisation here and there.

I asked walli for a version without his harmonization, but he didn't reply - so this is what I have for you guys.

Hope you enjoy it!

Edit: I had to redo my take as I accidently removed it from Youtube.

Well, after 2 weeks of really hard work, here is my attempt for the advanced entry. This is really far from perfection, but I leave town tomorrow (holidays ! tongue.gif) and I won't do it any better tonight. I'm really proud of it. I couldn't play it at 80bpm two weeks ago. And now, here it is. Thank you Smells for this contest which pushed me to work so much. And of course, thank you David for this wonderful lesson !That was a real pleasure. See you soon everyone.

PS : Smells, I've followed your advices for the High Quality video. This forum is great !

Here is my take for the intermediate one. After having it practiced for quite a while I finally got a take which contains considerably less errors (but certainly not perfect) as before. During the audio/video sync I noticed that the bloody video camera wasn't properly set-up. Anyways, don't have time to redo the whole thing (going away for a couple of days), so this will be it (I'm glad that I finally got an intermediate lesson more or less done smile.gif ).
