Hi everyone,
First, let me tell you how much of an honor this is. I am thrilled to be part of this and can't wait to see your takes!

I've been trying to find the backings for the tracks but only found the Mixolydian fun one..
The two other backings are no longer on my computer.. :-(

Here is the Mixo backing for those of you interested.
Once again, I'm sorry I don't have the others!!!

Attached File  Mixolydian_fun.mp3 ( 1.43MB ) Number of downloads: 226

I've been learning the beginner one and it's long so difficult to remember which is annoying as the intermediate is possibly easier than the beginner one for people good at certain things on guitar. I will try and give both a job but I'm loving the beginner lesson as it gives you a good feel for triplet ideas and that is something that I haven't focused on very much. I'm enjoying this lesson and should get it recorded this week.

Thanks a lot for the BT David.

Now here is my question Chris, as David provided us the BT can we record the audio and sync it with the video or it has to be live ?

Thanks.

If like I do you have a seperate camera you can record your take at the same time as recording the audio. So long as you dont record your audio first and then "mime" to your take afterwards wink.gif

I can play the backing through my webcam also and record over it at the same time so the backing sounds crisp but what I'm playing over it is live recorded. I didn't do it for the last video but I learnt how to since then smile.gif

Really nice OrganisedConfusion ! That's really clean. smile.gif
I have a question. How do we put a video on the forum. I've recorded a version of the intermediate lesson. Should I attach it to the message, or should I create a YouTube account ? What's best ? And what must be the video format ? For now, I have an avi file with XVid video and MP3 audio (mono). Is it OK ?
Thanks everyone.

Hey man. Cheers smile.gif You create a youtube account and upload it to there in any video format you want and then either post the youtube link here or embed it by putting the code at the end of the youtube link between the youtube embed codes

So for example

[ youtube ]xCh3FRedw[ /youtube ]

NOTE: WITH NO GAPS BETWEEN THE [ AND Y OR E AND ] ETC. I did this so code would show in forum smile.gif
