Probably middle-eastern.
I'd advice you to focus on minor, then harmonic minor and finally not so common scales though.

Weird. sounds pretty similar to phrygian dominant in use.

I think more people should study these exotic scales you know they give flavor to your playing, just ask Dick Dale he uses them alot. smile.gif
