...Learn drum theory? I wanna start making my own drums and and I can already make some things but it's hard for me to develop some more...elaborated things, if you know what I mean.

I have this problem too. What I found helps is look at the drum pattern in the GP file of another song, and try to write a drum pattern yourself similar to this. Keep doing this and you will get a good idea of drum patterns.

Also wanna add that doing MIDI drums is a skill. Just like anything else it needs practice and the more you work with it the faster and easier it will get. Just take your time mate and don't worry. Spend as much time as you can with the MIDI patterns and you will get to the bottom of it pretty fast.
