Just listened to the new version Paal. I like the bright feeling of the song and the country rock flavour. Great playing, and the recording is very clear. Can't wait for the final mix. All it needs is the vocals (a la "The Final Countdown"??? laugh.gif ).

Happy New Year.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Sound is great audiopaal, sounds very natural. I've listened the second version. I don't like the levels tho, I think guitars are way in front of everything else, specially the drums.

Two things to say....

First: the sound. well... you've setup a really great rig, it sounds excellent for this type of music. How about heavier rythms? The same quality?
Great job with recording, just work somewhat more on mixing.

Second: the song itself... man - great stuff, I really like it smile.gif Nice and catching melody.

I'm still tweaking the knobs for the heavier stuff, I'm getting there eventually smile.gif
It sounds pretty good now, but there's still a little way to go before I'm happy smile.gif

Thanks a lot, glad you like the song!!
I will mix it way better when I'm done recording all of my songs.
Then I can give them the same sound if you know what I mean smile.gif
