Hi Gabriel! I love the sound you get from that guitar on blues lick 2! On the slower tempo backing track, the track ends before I can finish the solo. Is it me, or is the track cutting off too short? Please advise and thanks.

Hi Justin! I just checked the backing and you are right.. It's very weird but it isn't complete. I'll search in my old back ups (that a very old lesson) to see if I can reupload it or just make a loop with the first part.

Gabriel.

Hey Gabriel,

I loved your sound so much I picked up a brand new 2008 studio from a guy who bought it new in March 2008, let it sit in the case until just a few days ago, and sold it too me for 700.00 US, including the case. He never played it! I brought it in too an authorized Gibson Dealer to check it out and set it up. I was informed all I needed to do was change the strings!

Since you have much more experience than I with this guitar, what amp and accessories should I be looking into to make this guitar sing? Attached Image

Congrats man! You did an great choice and the price that you paid is like a "joke"! Great! There isn't any secret with this guitar, its sound is very warm and it is very comfortable to play. You'll fall in love in just a week... you'll see. smile.gif

I use D'addario 010 strings. I keeped the original pick ups because I trhink that they are good but maybe in the future I could change them (but I'm no worry about it). When I play at home I use the pod X3 live conected to my studio monitors and when I play live I use a Vintage Electric Head (Similar to Messa Boogie) with a Marshall 1960 Cabinet. This guitar sounds great in many amplifiers and my choice would be Marshall or Mesa Boogie.

Ok friend! Congrats again and Happy New Year!

Gabriel.
