So sorry to hear about your basketball injury...But I would do as Skalde suggested , check out some theory..There is a lot to learn that will enhance your playing skills without the need to actually play the instrument smile.gif

I know the pain. the bone in my right thumb was shattered two years ago, I couldn't hold a pick properly for a few weeks, but I still practiced every day. unfortunatly the thumb still hasn't healed and it looks like it never will properly heal sad.gif

you could also do some finger exercises with the other hand!
