Mind Over Heart (Reprise)

You entrusted the departure of your soul
Don’t consent her to be mournful

Guarding darkness, blending palish
Caped and chained by bitter beauty
Falling roses, petals of fury
Unopened loosen silver light

Desire a stargaze
And tremble upon the pillars
Slow down and wake up
For a garden of miracles
carefully and humble
Step by step, you crumble
still tied to the chains of the past

Mind Over Heart you shout from despair
But still the hope continues to be there
All the beauty you deserve, you only see
Please God, free these chains from me

Dragged from all dust
Surrounded by mirrors
Forced to view
A broken dream
Repulsive figure
Ask yourself the question
where’s the beauty in me?

Mind Over Heart you shout from despair
But still the hope continues to be there
All the beauty you deserve, you only see
Please God, free these chains from me

“I write on this very sightly dawn, where I’ve taken the last step
The last fall, the final strike upon a rose of spikes among the sunny vale
The shame of existence, the ice tears of a broken candle
Whose light serves no more than itself
One night, I dreamt of the loneliness I witness today
And, at the same garden, the breaking of the chains
The blessing blossomed rose gaining colour”

I fall knowing that the I died by chains
And the reflection of my long life nightmares

Very good!

I get a strong Nightwish vibe from this, your choice of words is excellent. I offer no suggestions of improvement because there are none to give wink.gif

^ I liked this part.
Various things in different peoples lyrics stand out to me and this was the one in yours.

I wasnt sure if I liked the Chorus at first but after reading through it a couple more times I decided it was good, and worked well with the rest of everything smile.gif
