I am not entirely convinced - I though it was a province.

Either way - we do have ice-bears on the street, right??

Yes, I have one as a pet too tongue.gif And I say "uff da" ALL the time tongue.gif
btw a friend of mine used to live in USA and he says that people there call norwegians "uffdas" because they think we say "uff da" all the time (which is another word for oops). Is this true? tongue.gif

I'm from the Black Country an area in the UK neighbouring Birmingham. Many legendary acts have come from here, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Slade, Glenn Hughes, Roy Wood, Christine McVie, Jeff Lynne all came from here. The birthplace of metal \m/ smile.gif

I live in Arvidsjaur Sweden. About 1000 km from Stockholm.

Compared to the guys who live in the southern part of sweden we here in the north know the true meaning of winter climate.

I image searched both those places. One returned bright sunny landscapes with stunning blue lakes and rivers , the other retuned 'White'...... with some huskies biggrin.gif

Sweden looks amazing though. I would love to visit someday. in fact the whole Scandinavian region is awesome in my book.

I"m from Atlanta Georgia, by way of Lexington kentucky. I must say, God has snubbed you guys cruelly by denying you Southern birth, but you haven't let it get you down! And I respect that wink.gif

It is! There's no place I'd rather be...except maybe Norway wink.gif

I'm fine with the cold(er) climate - because there are less distractions outside, you can be more productive (inside).

South Central, Alaska that is! biggrin.gif Big Lake, AK. Alaska's year round playground.
There used to be a world map on the site where GMCer's could place a pin and show where they are but I think it has been abandoned. sad.gif
The link to the map doesn't work anymore.
