Hey buddy,
Pretty impressive start with trooper, and I had to add that you did a great timing job on the stopping parts on the first verse, you didnt had no metronome not anything and tempo was lower than the original so great job there
Curiously you did a lot more mistakes at %50 than %75, especially on the entry part. This is not a problem, it was your first take etc, maybe it was because of a little lack of concentration due to excitement. No matter. Great Job, you have nearly finished all the rhythm parts. You have just 2 little solos, that I am sure with the help of slower playing you will nail them. Solo tablature is correct, just its because how Guitar pro handles bends. Check original tune for performing that bends right ok? All in all that was a great first take buddy, keep it up... And I agree on that Mosh \m/
Ok for the AIC lesson, trust me you are going well. You may want to check out previous videos. You are playing more confidently, and Kris' bending lesson is really serving its purpose. You bends are already better. You are making errors at various spots. But at different spots each time. That shows me that these problems are there because of some lack of focus. You'll do better saturday night. I am sure of this... And one final thing, be sure to make vibratos on the long notes. A long note is an opportunity, you can make it sound better, if you dont play it with vibrato, you are actually wasting that long note mate dont forget that buddy
And finally Kris' bending exercise, same problem with AIC. You played it nearly perfect at the start of the video, then you started to make errors. Try to think nothing else while you are playing that exercise. When you start to automize the playing process and start to think of your daily life, you'll loose your timing sense and eventually those little delays will make you play it with mistakes. Concentration is the key!
YEah buddy, you are going faster than ever, that is good and bad. The thing that is good is you are getting better faster and faster, the bad thing is if you stuck in something now you'll have a psychological hit, you'll feel like a loser. Do you remember the day you felt so bad, just when you started to Arpeggio Strumming exercises, and you felt like you could easily play it with 100bpm but you failed even at 50bpm. Thats the case I am talking about. So take it easy, dont try to make it harder than it is for you. Dont forget AIC exercise has the priority now because it is the old stuff. Once you nailed it we will change it to new exercise ok?
Cheers man and keep up the good work!!!
