Yeah, you're right.. I'll export in mono then smile.gif
I usually record with 2 microphones in front of my amp, so that makes it a stereo recording..
But I'll export it as mono smile.gif

Great backing by the way!

But in that case it's ok. Mix your sound in a stereo track and I will include it like that. Your guitar solos will be panned in the center so make sure you have equal singnals in both L and R sides.

Yes you can use only A aeolian if you are not comfortable with any other approach. Be careful which notes to to use when the chord change occurs. It can be all played in A aeolian but with a careful note choice in some parts. Read my previous posts where I wrote about different use of pentatonics. I can give you a tip if you want to expand it a bit. For example on the G7 chord think mixolidyan. It is still the same scale as A aeolian but think of it as G mixolidyan and put emphasis on the major 3rd and the b7th degree as those notes describes the color of that mode the best. On E7 use phrygian dominant and resolve on A minor again when the chord progression gets back to A minor. There are many different ways to improvise here but if you are not sure how to do it then use whatever sounds right for you.

Edit: I added you on the list smile.gif

Thank you for this. From recording point of view this is ok for me. Maybe it would be even better if you send separate guitars for the harmony. If you are asking about playing I will comment on that when we finish the whole thing. You should know if you are happy with your take and what's good to send for mixing. If you want to re-record this again with your new equipment, no problem but please (everybody) do not send many takes as this thread will get really messy. Pick the one you are happy with and send me only one final take. No rush, you have 2 more weeks for this and plenty of time to analyse your take and improve the recording if needed.

Sounds kind of like "While my guitar gently weeps" by the Beatles!

I'll give this a go if it's not too late.

Yes the first part is the same harmony like WMGGW smile.gif I realised that when I finished but doesn't really matter for this purpose. We can still have fun jamming.

Thanks for joining

p.s. I think that song is originaly by George Harrison
