Other than that I want your opinions if I should try to do a simple melodie for the Clean part that utak3r did

I would wait to get OC's backing first and then see what is needed. smile.gif

Exactly so. We'll have to see a total image of a song, then we can think of any beauties.

Alright. Here is the complete tab. We can choose riffs, solo places etc. There should be enough places but we just need to maybe lengthen some riffs that will be used for solos after deciding. So now a discussion is needed and we can then let leedbreak do drums and we can get this recorded. Sorry I didn't include any of your sections but we will use them in future as I hope this VB can carry on so we will let somebody elses riffs be next choice. This took me a hell of a long time to prepare. I hope you like. It's the full song tab so now we can record it proper.

We all need to decide when the drum track is done who will record which parts. Obviously the song will be recorded properly not just in guitar pro format smile.gif

Yeah, and prior to this moment of decisions I have to try those riffs and see which ones I actually can play smile.gif

They shouldn't be too tricky smile.gif I did it for a beginner thing as I am a beginner lol. biggrin.gif But the riffs range from very very easy to beginner/intermediate level with a few of the ideas. smile.gif

Sorry guys, I was not able to get on in the last 24 hours. I love the tab, very cool. I will try to finish a drum track early this weekend. Even if we run out of time and have to finish in uploads this could be very much worth our time from this point. Great job everyone, we shall rock.

I will be in touch.

Well, here it is and we've got 7 days to pick what part we want and learn it huh.gif . For me, this will be hard since there is quite a few cool areas to choose from. I sent everyone a PM link to here so we all know it is time to play some guitar. If what you play varies a tad that's ok. as long as it sounds similar and fits in the drums and feel.

We just need to not vary a lot in our tone and catch that early. To me OC's tone was a bit too much in your face while crazys was a tad too soft. IMHO

If you want to play some of the rhythm in areas that are just screaming SOLO, be nice to get them up fast.

I still have to use midi from the tabs since I can never get the wav file to save right. Anyway it is close enough to tell how cool this will be to pull off. I will have a section picked by tomorrow night and recorded by Sunday night. Try to announce a section you would like to try this weekend so we can see whats left. OC, you did a great job breaking it into useable learnable sections.

Ah the virtual drummer. He can play anything a 1000 times and not a peep of fusing. laugh.gif

The count at :36-:38 will get deleted in the final mix to give a nice stop.

You all will love 1:45 - 1:54 cool.gif

Attached File  Drums_and_bass.mp3 ( 1.26MB ) Number of downloads: 185

Attached File  Drums_no__tabs.mp3 ( 1.26MB ) Number of downloads: 188

I am sure I can cut and loop a few areas with out any harm when doing the final mix to make it a tad longer. If any one wants any of the drums changeI will do may best. smile.gif

Attn; OC

After playing over the track some tonight I thought I would get your input on doing it at 110? still pretty advanced at 110. Just a thought at 12:15 AM

Guys,

Just so you know, I think you all are doing an awesome job here and I won't be opening a new sign-up thread until the 10th of February. We would like to have something completed in or around a month or so but the time is a bit flexible.. smile.gif

That is great to hear about the extension. We can do it well now and not rush.

Leed, i am off to the boro football match which is about 200 miles from my house so wont be back till late and i will listen to drums then. I think 110 will sound too slow to me but i am not sure. How about a 120 bpm compromise?

Also i agree with my tone on earlier recording. It was too distorted and over the top. Lets go for a dark and mildly distorted sound. And if you can on any rhythm parts you do record it twice and pan one slightly left and one slightly right. Lets do a good job on this and i will record bass. I just cant seem to get a good sound and dont have bass amp. But will do my best. Its hard to get it sounding twangy no toneport.

What do the others think to the song? I really like it and think it will show our abilities as beginners.

Great work guys. Sorry for being out of the loop on this but I have been looking at places to add my contribution.

I've been toying with putting a harmonizing guitar part to the intro gonna upload it later.

Just the tab was in midi, a GP export. The drums are waves I mix in with the midi.

here is the GP midi export

Attached File  riff4.mid ( 17K ) Number of downloads: 134

If someone can do a wav export from the GP using GP rse sound. and then mix it with the drums would be cool. Thats what I can't pull off. The wav I get from GP will not play in my older mixing software

It is morning here so I have a couple chores to do but we could meet in chat at 20 past the hour

THis is a test edit to see what the edit time below reads. I think it is slow by about 1/2 hour I did it at 8:03 and it says I did it at 7:35
