Beginner Solo In D From Muris, THX Muris for that great music

Posts: 275 Joined: 6-August 08 From: Austria	hi folks here we go with another great peace of music from Muris i tried to copy it as good as possible i know i am not Muris but i think i did it quite well ok some misstakes in the bendings and a bit too slow at the 16th notes (and some more ) but overall i guess you can hear that this is music and not just screaming guitar ........ as alwaysi am looking for YOUR oppinion about that, especially the instructors are up to tell me "the shocking truth" in fact that i am quite busy with the MTP - Lessons i thought i need to do some totally different in between BTW special THX to Andres "coffeman" who is really great player and i am very honest to be mentored by him for the next time, THX Andres ok you can start with your comments and i appreciate lots of them see ya with the next lesson THX Harry You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick. There is a small rhythmical mistake before the tapping part , where you play E minor arpeggio, just little rhythmical inconsistency, nothing serious. Here at GMC we'll look for the mistakes with microscope:) Just do what I advice you, repeat that part slowly, 30 times, and in 10 minutes it's perfect. Relax for 5 minutes and record it, that's the way I do it when I can't play something, and there are 5-10 spots in each piece that are difficult to me, so you just stop, slow down, repeat, repeat, repeat... Recording your self is a powerful tool for learning, when you hit that red button, you are really working, you're pushing your self, later you watch it, and look for the mistakes, and again and again, if you are critical, this method will work for you. Maybe it has something to do with the equipment used to record? You start bending in one tempo then slow down then get back to the tempo.) I disagree about the vibrato being good though. You should work on making the vibrato wider, because now it sounds a bit out of tune and less feely. I'm not saying your vibrato is the worst I've heard, but it definately needs work. Wider! Vibrato is like a fast repeated bend and everytime you just don't hit the top note it's going to sound off. I'm struggling with it as well, but I feel like it has improved since I really started working on it. I hope you will do the same. About the tone. Try to play with your settings. Keep it up! thx Boson i try to do my best but this all happens in mind, i love the MTP and it the main thing is that this keeps me motivated practice is lot more funny, when there is someone to tell what you can do better, what you can change or what you have done, siting alone in the cellar is not so funny, but when i read the comments of all of you makes me fly to the sky, even if its says " hey man, i dont like you bendings" or whatever thats the main point in my oppinion, because this fact makes me work on my "bendings", becaus i think next time i will do better so i would to thank you all again for your comments, never thought that this would make me motivated like this lets see how it comes, when there are lessons that wont be that easy for me, like Muris alternate picking thirds seems like i will never crakc that damn nut ...... thx again to all of you cya Harry You are at GuitarMasterClass.net Don't miss today's free lick.
