Hi guys! Here are the first pics of my new American Standard Stratocaster that I bought at the Guitar Center sale last night! It is the smoothest playing guitar I have ever picked up! It has the new neck treatment that Fender is putting on their American Standards, that they refer to as a "buffed fingerboard". It feels so smooth it is like playing on silk! The back of the neck is the standard finish so it feels the same. It is like a layer of clear coat or something similar. It has such a beautiful natural tone...I am not sure if I even want to put the Texas Special pickups into it that I installed in my other guitar! Hope you like it as much as I like playing it!

It was $850...plus $68 tax, so $918. A lot better than $1,080 which was the regular price with tax!
