I've been looking around for songs with neoclassical styles to them, something like Takayoshi or Syu, but slightly different and preferably with tabs. One song I'm liking in particular is Spirits by Godspeed, Link to video . Unfortunatley there aren't any tabs for this song, so learning it is going to take a while.

Anyway, to the point. Does anyone know songs or bands or guitarists in general with that kind of sound and style? Anything close would be great, preferably something that's been tabbed out.

No problem. smile.gif I don´t know if you know Yngwie Malmsteen. He´s also a neoclassical guitarist who has dived into Bach, Beethoven, etc. He plays different from Marcello, but in the same style. You could check him out, too!

Yeah I've learned a bunch of things of Yngwie's, I actually was working on Red Devil earlier. I don't know though, his style seems more...classical.

I'm kind of in the same boat looking for more stuff in the style of Syu or Takayoshi or Ohmura, etc - I've been told its "power-metal" just without the fantasy lyrics - some of the songs also have a flare of blues and 80's rock. I hope this kind of narrows down your search.
