bending and vibrato problems, Help

Yes good question - If you are practicing a whole step bend from the fifth fret: First play the note a whole step up - in other words on the seventh fret - then bend from the fifth and make sure you get theright pitch! I wonder if Kris demponstates the techinque in any of the lessons or solos.... anyone know? I'm just now getting to where I can hear when I've got the bend in tune... and I can really tell when other people bend sharp .. seemed like one day I could just 'hear it' ...
