I am having problems achieving a "clean bend", and/or can tell the note is now quite at the right tone.

Any special way to practice, so I can achieve that sound I want?

Yes good question - If you are practicing a whole step bend from the fifth fret: First play the note a whole step up - in other words on the seventh fret - then bend from the fifth and make sure you get theright pitch!

Try using a chromatic tuner, play a note and bend it till the tuner reads the note a whole step(or whatever you want to bend to), and remember how much you bent that note and what it sounds like so you can do it again!

Very nice suggestions! Now to practice.

Practice the motion of vibrato, but slowly. It takes a while to get a decent vibrato, or atleast it did for me. I still think mine sucks, but its not bad. If your talking about regular vibrato(minus bending), then that should be much easier.

Bending with Vibrato is a problem for me too...

I wonder if Kris demponstates the techinque in any of the lessons or solos....
anyone know?

I'm just now getting to where I can *hear* when I've got the bend in tune... and I can really tell when other people bend sharp .. seemed like one day I could just 'hear it' ...

I guess that is why they say "stick with it - eventually it will come"
