Ok, read the first post in this thread to get yourself up to speed: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...3&hl=VARIAX

Now realize that after that first post, I have since shipped the Variax back to Line 6 TWICE. That's 4 times the guitar has been in the shop in a little over a year.

I just received the guitar back today. It still doesn't work. I called Line 6 support and they walked me through a few things and decided I should ship it back to them for repair. I declined to go that route. I ended up leaving a voice mail for the service manager because I don't want this guitar repaired. I want a new guitar or my money refunded. I don't think I'm being unreasonable.

GAH!

I don't think you are being unreasonable at all...just remember to keep your temper when talking to them. If you act out of control, they won't be as likely to help you!

Absolutely not unreasonable for you to ask for a refund or exchange. As a matter of fact, I'm surprised that they didn't offer you those options anyway..Good luck with it. smile.gif

Yep, good luck, and no not at all unreasonable, you've given them every opportunity to correct the problem.

It's sad though - I haven't had a single issue with any of my 3 Line 6 Instruments or my Pod, not that that helps you at all wink.gif

Consumer rules says (at leat here) that if you return a product for the third time with a similar error you can get a full refund. And the store can't even debate it.
