In lesson Beginer Licks in the end Kris said that soloing is just putting licks together but when I see pro guitarists it doesn't look like they are just putting licks together. cool.gif

Soloing IS putting licks together. It might not look like they are because they are so fluid at it. After a while, you will have learned plenty of licks, and you will KNOW what they will sound like before you play them. So you will then be able to play what you are feeling.

listen to a slow solo and try to recognise licks.
