I have an Epiphone Les Paul with humbucker pickups. I'd like to be able to produce the same sound like this great guitarist on the following You Tube link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPYH6XAiMyI...feature=related

Please let me know what amps, amp settings and effects that I can use to produce the same sound. Thanks

Tasty playing!!!!!

Any amp set to its overdrive setting, with the gain at about 85% will be doing its best to get there. Back off the mids a bit.

Add REVERB.

And a decent amount of it.

I'd use lighter strings for those big bends.

And unless you feel like routing out the body and installing a tremolo thats about as close as you're gonna get my friend.

He uses lots of gain and some reverb and could be a little delay.
But the sound is that way because he's playing with lots of volume so sometimes he's playing with the feedback.

Like said above use a good amount of gain and reverb. Also use the bridge pickup on your Les Paul to give that screaming lead sound.

He has a lot of sustain there - so either feedback, or maybe even sustainer pickups.

It looked like there were sustainer pickups on the video. It was a Kramer so thats not surprising.
