Hey my names Cory, I've been playing for roughly 2 and half years. I'm a huge Steve Vai fan. I started going on this site about a year ago, and I really never socialized in the forums until today though. I've had 5 guitars so far (An Epiphone Zakk Wylde Signature, a Dean ML, Jackson RR with EMG 81 85's, an Ibanez Gio, and Jem) but I've limited my collection down to just 2 now. An Ibanez S Gio(which is sitting in parts in my garage, haha) and the Jem. I've got a pretty good sense of humor just check out my myspace. (In signature)

Hi Cory. Welcome to GMC smile.gif

--------------------
"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
