Choose one song that you are really comfortable with playing and one song that's more challenging. This way you have one where you play really laid back and one where you really can show off.

Superize don't be nervous dude, you have the dedication to your instrument necessary to make it through music school. Like Mandos said, pick something very familiar to you - or learn something easy something so easy you barely have to think about it when playing... Then something that exhibits your skills!
Good luck!

I agree with Mandos. Do NOT EVER, choose something you are not 100% comfortable with!
Another thing that can help is if you choose to "improvise" in the songs, make sure you prepared licks that you can fit in here and there. And when it comes to soloing remember people want creative melodies and not see how fast you can play smile.gif And finally, remember to breathe in your solos.

Btw, when you got some songs you think you'd use, please write them here. Or if you tell what genres you play I can maybe suggest a few songs.

Cheers

Alex

Congrats on passing the first test!
I agree with the advice everyone else has given you, chose a piece you are comfortable with and that will show how fluent you are on your instrument.
Keep us posted!

There has been a change i am only goining to choose one song to play.......

I am really not sure what to play but i will pick a song i feel comfortable with.... I have been thinkning of choosen Primo Victoria by Sabaton because i can play it nearly perfect and i can play the solo to.......

The hardest part at the auditon(Lets call it that) is that they are going to give me 2 songs to choose from and then i have 30 min to learn and prepare the song and then i am going to show the band how it is supposed to be played.....

Then me and the band are going to have a jam session and the last part is a theory test.....

I better start reading some theory lessons
