Ok so I ordered my new Les Paul 08 standard 2 weeks ago, first of all they lost my order form in the post, then when they sent the new one out they couldnt get it to a courier because of snow, then they tell me its turning up yesterday so I work from home and wait all day and it doesnt turn up. Finally turns up today and the first time i tune it i break the (Yes you guessed it!) high E string! but its ok I have spares! Oh fender bullets........wrong guage.........and no high E string anyway! mellow.gif

I think my strat is actually laughing at me as i stare forlornly ay my new squeeze, oh well they say patience is a virtue! wink.gif

Bound to happen.

The strings that come on guitars always seem to be junk.

Get yourself a new set and you'll be jamming in no time.

Perhaps when you actually play it for the first time, a black hole pops up and sucks it in, and then disappears again.. Just to make you wait for another couple of weeks while you try to find a "black hole-insurance" to get a new one for free? tongue.gif
Maybe you should set up a camera just in case tongue.gif

Anyway, congratulations with your new bride ^^

Always save your old strings when changing. Old string is better than no strings. (You can tell it happened to me once) wink.gif
