Pedja,

do we need to follow the degrees strictly? In your take you do a sequence, then go a step below, then another step, then 1 step up again (i use "step" here because you have to keep it diatonic). What if I jump around (bearing the chords in mind) but do the same sequence for the B chords? This way I wouldn't stick to the root note (or a fixed interval from the root) as a landing point for each chord.

Berko,

Thats definitely allowed !
I did sequence in the most simplistic and obvious ways possible so everybody can understand how easy it is to play and pull it off. I encourage you to jump around but keep in mind number or notes, melodic shape that you are using and rhythm as you want listener to recognize it as sequence wink.gif

The thing about being really stupid, is that there are a zillion ways to be a moron. There are usually several ways to be intelligent, given a situation, but it is a small finite number. But there are always a zillion ways to be to blithering idiot. So finding a new way to have the intellect of an artichoke is nothing to be proud of really, it is easy to do.

So true... To bad im still an artichoke haha

I am sure you will do fine man smile.gif
Have you read the guidelines ?
Just listen to my solo, I am just looking for demonstration of sequence. You can Diatonic Melodic sequence with same rhythm or change rhythm but idea is it has to move trough the harmony smile.gif
