I'm not sure if its possible but i think everyone could use a complete setup scan from start to last in a series of videos. i know there are some bits and pieces right now but not really a complete start to finish series. i know every guitar is different but a fender type is a good place to start because I'm guessing its the most common guitar.
don't know if its possible but if its possible it can be of great help to every body and also save people money from taking it to a pro and paying 50 dollars for him to turn 2 screws around. i learned for example a bit about computers like how to reinstall windows and how to clean the fans and saved hundreds of dollars.
I'm not saying that we can solve electricity problems or so of the more complicated things but the basic stuff

Thats a cool Idea, I think more gear tutorials for beginners would be pretty awesome I mean I can play a bit now but when it comes to knobs and switches I am a completely useless, Ive watched Andrew's Beginner vid on the instrument and that was good but something with more indepth would be welcome as well biggrin.gif. A floyd rose video lesson would be pretty cool tongue.gif

i agree with you guys these things is very important to the beginners. how to install and re-install their gears
i learned how to fix my guitar and started with changing strings then how to adjust the bridge, neck and
cleaning the knobs in the same time i learned how to soldering and re-installed many pickups to my guitar
and i agree that we need more tutorials about that from first step to the end

I second this. I basically know how to set up a guitar, but some hints from some one with a lot of experience would be definitely appreciated. I guess there should be separate videos on fixed tune o matic bridges and floyd rose style tremolos. wink.gif

vampire18, as long as you're not designing your own pickups the electrics inside of a guitar are very simple. Basically just a few wires, switches, (variable) resistors and condensers. That's really entry level electronics. But I don't think that a video on this would be needed. There is really enough books and information on this subject. And at least I also had some electronics lessons at school.

Yes, I agree, these kind of tutorials are extra useful. They are very difficult to produce tho, so I hope somebody can do them. I'm starting a software tutorials series atm.
