Hi guys

I was thinking of some kind of database or even a thread (like for the line 6 sounds) where we all can share some drumbeats or basslines / sounds or keyboard sounds or whatever is needed to create your own recordings.
i thought of small midi tracks or even mp3 (jus really small files - one beat or 2) to be able to use in DAW (reaper or cubase .......)

what do you guys think of that idea ?

Cool idea. I don't have line 6 but I think this could be helpful for those who have.

yes David you are right, just small drum loops for example, which can be used in your own recordings

for line 6 sounds there is already a thread at GMC

However it is rarely used and not really a database of sounds. Would be cool to do the same with guitar as well

I think some drum loops at different tempo's would be nice to have. I like to use the metronome in Gearbox where you can create a drum beat and not just a tick....tick....tick....tick laugh.gif Some midi samples of different ideas would be cool to play around with too. Must be your own work though so keep that in mind. smile.gif

For those that have not seen our collection of model tone's, you can find them HERE

I think it's a good idea in general. Some cool MIDI drum & bass loops could be useful! smile.gif

hey guys

i meant something like this, simple and easy but i makes much more fun practicing with this kind of metronome and not everyone here has possibilities to buy addictice drums or EZ drummer

first i thought of midi but i am not sure if DAW can work with them when there is no drum vst installed so i decided to use mp3

or another one

This would be a BIG help to a recording genius like me!! wink.gif ANY help I can get with this stuff is always welcome!!

The thread doesnt have to be specific, you could just upload interesting loops, beats, backings, tones, anything! As long as people contribute the thread will be bumped along nicely, I've got some L6T files I can throw in??

and in my oppinion it makes more fun practicing with drum backing makes more fun than with just "click click click"

would like to know what the "important" guys think of that and how we can arrange that

hope the y will see this thread someday *hehehe*
