All of a sudden - I was browsing forums - a blank page with text "Not allowed" jumped at me. I tried erasing cookies etc.. and still I get this. I thought, I am banned or something, but in IE everything is right..

Any guess? its kinda bugging, since I hate IE:-/

Cood be something wrong with the Java add on. Maybe if you reinstall that. You are not banned if you can get there with IE

Firefox 3 works me as well - but only with the LATEST update (I have a mac so i usually update everything at least twice in a month)

the former version did these tricks to me. for me it was java that did the problem. try updating it for free. these problems don't have to occur right after the installation of a bad version dry.gif

Try updating firefox/java plugin mate, and check if your firewall is messing with you perhaps.

Is it just the GMC forums you cant reach?
Thought maybe a antivirus/firewall program could have blocked mozillas access to the net, or put some restrictions on it.

AFAIK the Firefox white screen of death is caused by a scripting error. Mozilla said that it was fixed in Version 3.0.6 (but wasn't). Seems ok since 3.0.7 to me.

Try it again and empty both disk and memory cache too (think both are cleared by the same setting now)

See how important it is to finish the instructions before you act. Now you made me delete everything on both my disks. laugh.gif
