No good doom metal here yet so here are some for starters:

For the riff in question, go to 5:46 (CONTENDER FOR THE SLUDGIEST DOOM RIFF!)

Unfortunately YouTube don't have the song I want but if you have the album you'll know what I mean. Riff at 3:23 on "Heavy Load" from the album Caravan Beyond Redemption by Cathedral

A finally a classic that I always find myself nodding to from 0:52.. well ANYTHING from this album is doomtastic

-.- kindergarden time again ?!?
Is it really necessary to delete two post just because the F-word is part of a song title?!?
I can't see how that would still offend people these days...

Anyways my neck is getting tired and so am I, last on for tonight:

Loving the thread guys, but let's try and keep it clean with the song titles...

EDIT: If you want to post up a vid with explicit titles, please, just post a link and not embed the video

There are so many cool riffs. In particular this song. It is so awesome when the powerfull riff kicks in after the clean intro. At 3:55 there is heavy breakdown - I love this song wink.gif

Here is a group called Forbidden. They are part of the 80´s thrash movement. Along with Exodus they are what got me started playing guitar in the first place. Sorry don´t know how to post a youtube video. mad.gif
