I never like the bat-shaped tyring-to-look-evil type of B.C Riches but this one is pretty decent and I'm a fan of ebony fretboards so now I'm envious tongue.gif Great playing btw smile.gif

Nice Chris and grats.

Great deal you've got with the wife -I'll have to try and persuade mine to do the same. Maybe not quite gear for gear though ohmy.gif ...

approx around $800

@Ben- well, we have a gear for gear agreement laugh.gif If I sell gear I can buy gear, I sold a few things off that I dont use anymore but was hanging onto and I sold two packet of strings and a used pick that I recently bought to a friend of mine, it was a hard sacrifice actually but this was definatly well worth it smile.gif ...

I'm curious of the tone difference between the Alder of the BC and Mahogany of the Schecter. I also like the Ebony board on the BC.

Jacksons are Alder bodies.

Great to see another BC lover around here biggrin.gif

Chris, I tried out the ASM you bought...the local shop is a BC dealer. LOVE IT!!! Spectacular quality!

I think their guitars are the absolute best buy there is... I bought my Assassin a year ago and am still absolutely thrilled by it, gets me excited every time I pick it up. Paid around 600 USD. Mine has no trem, and has the passive Rockfield pups, neck-through, quilt top, just lovely biggrin.gif

Rockfield pups are great, versatile as hell, I honestly recommend them if you're ever interested in a model which has them installed.

This is gonna be my #1 guitar for a loooong time... biggrin.gif
