Hello everyone. My name is Denny and I'm glad to be a part of this great site. Somehow I arrived here while searching for sweep picking technique. After viewing David W's sweep picking basics free lessons, I had to join up!

Robin Trower, Jeff Beck, Randy Rhodes, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Scott Henderson, Greg Howe and Joe Satriani are just a few of my favorite guitarists.

I am excited by the advances I have made already as I am such a visual learner to start with! How awesome it is to be able to take lessons at my convenience.

Later, D ;>)

Hi Denny, this is a great place so your lucky if you ended up here after your search.

Looking forward to seeing you around in the forums and have fun with all the lessons.

Welcome to GMC! smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato
