Anyone pick this up yet? I picked it up yesterday for the PS3 but haven't loaded it up yet because it's finals week and just about the worst time I could've chosen to purchase it. The demo was pretty sweet, though, and the co-op gameplay is a nice new addition to the series.

I'm not really too excited for it, though I was a huge fan of RE4

I played the demo of it, and I was a little disappointed. The gameplay mechanics are basically the same.

1.) Shoot zombie in head
2.) punch/kick zombie
3.) Repeat

they even use the same motion captures from RE4, in other words, when you shoot a zombie in the head, they do the same exact motions in RE5 as they do in RE4. But you probably wouldn't notice this if you only played RE4 casually.

In the end though, I'll probably wind up getting it at some point, I'm just not that excited for it that's all.

I'm lookinbg forward to this game, as with many games out right now. Problem is, music and work takes up so much time I don't have any left for gaming! :\

I'll check out the Xbox version sometime. The demo is cool...I have a hard time with the controls though. I can't seem to aim very well.

Haha, we'll see how long that actually lasts. Going strong for now, though.

If anyone wants to co-op on this thing pretty soon to kill some zombies, my online gamertag is J-Silex for Playstation network.
