Welcome to GMC smile.gif You opened 3 same topics smile.gif I hope the admin will notice and remove the other two. Which style of music do you prefer? It would be useful if you can upload some of your work so we can suggest some lessons.

Ok, you can search for some beginner lessons but you can also try something else depending on what level you are. I recomend you do technical exercises and at the same time learn some basic music theory. Check out Andrew's theory board on the forum. For lessons, grab some simple chords and start from there. Then you can move to scales and modes. First look for simple pentatonic scales then the major scale. After you get familiar with these I suggest you start learning modes. You can search for all these terms and there are plenty of lessons about it. Try this pentatonic lesson for the start (in slow tempo of course). This is essential stuff to learn pentatonic shapes in 5 positions if you want to play rock music.
