Ok guys this is rolling for real now!
We are generating the personal Rec History pages and updating the REC Scoreboard based on your results, take a look at the general scoreboard here:

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/wiki/inde...REC_Score_Board

There are some rated entries that haven't been updated into the wiki yet, but all of them will be there real soon. The scoreboard will be updated frequently based on the input we get on the REC forum.

Notice you can sort the scoreboard based on member name, titles, levels, etc. And if you guys click on your names you'll be taken to your personal history page where you can see the list of your passed lessons, embedded vids and the calculations regarding your REC title, etc.

Feel free to PM your picture if you want it featured at your personal history page smile.gif
Hope you like it cool.gif

We need you to use the backing track to get a more accurate grade. If you ask the Instructor for it, they will gladly send it to you. smile.gif

I want to ask a quick question about the scoring. Does posting 5 level 6 lessons get you the same title as posting two level 7s, two level 5s, and a level 6, since both sets of five add up to 30?

I hesitate to ask this, because I think it may have already been asked wacko.gif

If I am going to submit an acoustic lesson for the REC program, what happens to the sound category?

does it just get omitted?

thanks!

It seems posting 3 lessons where you score an average of 6.66 equals the same level as posting 1 lesson where you score the same.

Is that intentional?

There's no way you can score with decimals passing just one lesson, as lessons have a round number difficulty, either 6 or 7 etc.
When you pass several lessons the final score is the average of 5 highest passed lessons.
You don't get next title until you reach the next round number. That means being 5, 5.2 or 5.9 won't change your title until you reach 6.

It's all very well explained here wink.gif

forget the decimal part. Thats not the question.

1 lesson with a 6 score = same title as 3 lessons with a 6 score.

Yes. But not the same as 21 lessons with a score of 6.
Check the link above to understand the ratings smile.gif

I see.

I can do 1 lesson, score a 6, quit, and forever be a "Tone Master".

But I'll be a "Learning Tone Master"

Vs those who keep going, scoring 6's and become "Experienced or Accomplished" Tone Masters.

Gotcha.

Right! cool.gif

Besides REC program is most of all a motivation tool for everyone involved to grow as a guitarist, so adding just one high level lesson and quitting the program would be of no use for the student... and as you say, you'd be stuck with the "learning" XP title forever laugh.gif

This is just starting, but as time passes and people keep adding their takes we will see these "learning" roadies turning into "experienced guitar heros", at least that's the point. REC shall measure your expertice over time, the more lessons you guys upload the more accurate your title will resemble your actual playing level smile.gif
