> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I think those tapped notes should be all with a pull off. I could hardly hear any pull off. Sounds like you are only tapping without the pull off to the next note. Otherwise it would have been 5 for cleanness. But well done for this take

Like Emir, i would have to agree with the assesment that we can't hear the pulled off note which gives the lower score in cleaness, and makes the feel less then what it should be.

You obviously can get your hands in the right place and the rhythm was good, but you have to get those pulled off notes to ring otherwise the chords your playing mean nothing.

Almost there my friend smile.gif

Since everybody took "Cleaness" as the one to lower points for those pull offs I'm going to use it too.
I think the take is almost spotless but it has nothing to do with the original lesson, without those pull-off I think it loses all. Sorry to be that hard but the notes are not even there, I turned the volume up to the roof and I couldn't hear even one of the notes played by accident. It would be the same if your left hand stood still and you only made the take with your right hand.
I think you could rock the lesson mate, but to me that part is really important.
Also if you want to sound more close to the Carlos' lesson he's using some chorus and delay (a little).

Keep the good work mate! smile.gif

I just had trouble with cleanness in this take along with tapping. Fix that and you are all set !
