I finally managed to finish the video clip I was working on for guitar idol, I got a big delay since the competition ends today but it's not dramatical, it was a great experience. I added some special effects and did some 'mastering' to the audio.
You can all see the video on youtube (you can watch it in HD) :

Hope you'll like it. smile.gif

Musically yours,

Jad

Very nicely produced Jad, I enjoyed your video. I wish the lead had been a little higher in the mix but that's just preference. smile.gif Good luck in the competition, I'll head over and cast my vote! cool.gif

Cheers!

Thanks for feedbacks guys, 'bout the solo volume, I think I was so focused on letting every instrument sound while doing the mastering, I wanted to let people differenciate every instrument even those who have a difficult ear .. and I completely forgot to boost my solo volume ... unfortunetly, now it's too late to change everything, it took 10 hours to render the video, and heat 3 ends tonight.

Thanks again for your advice smile.gif

Oh and I forget, yeah kaznie I used 3 green screen smile.gif
PS: the edit button doesn't work ... does anyone else have the same prob ?

I agree with Skennington too, the lead is very low, it's a pitty because the video is so well produced.
You've got a really great job there.

Yea, I agree with the volume being low, in my opinion the bass could have been lowered a bit, I think it would have let the lead sound more distinguishable, without losing the effect of the bass at all. Really good song though, and the video is great smile.gif
Good luck man!
