I think he went a bit over board to say he didn't think of rhythm when he was doing fast parts. I am sure when he was developing his style he practiced every single rhythm value to be able to pull of what he is doing now days. One thing I agree, he clearly says that fast playing is just TEXTURE to his style nothing more, so it was more about getting that point across then anything else I think wink.gif
